A pleasure to serve !

I showed up at Changi airport in Singapore at 5 am for my flight to Sydney; they had no record of my reservation. With not much time and no way to reach the travel agent I was anxious to say the least!

The agent said there were no seats available for him to release in the system. But then he said the magic words:

" Don't worry Mr. Hickler. It is my job to solve our customers' problems and it will be my pleasure to solve yours. We will get you on that plane"

Need I say more? Music to my ears. And a tune so rare these days you'd think it was almost extinct. And yet when you hear it, it instills the intensest loyalty.

I got on the plane, an intensely satisfied and loyal customer.
