Communicate. Not only to share your vision, but perhaps more importantly to stay grounded and in touch with your organization.
Your people are the face to the customer, they create and deliver your product. And the closer they are to the customer, the more important that you speak to them and hear what they have to say.

Speak to everyone. Many leaders communicate very well but only touch the top layers of the company. Talk to the customer service reps, the people on the line, the drivers.. . That is where the customer is; that is where the real DNA, the culture of your company sits; that is where where the ideas and solutions are.
