Knowing what makes you happy

I often talk with my coaching clients about knowing what makes you happy and pursuing that. Doing more of that. It seems like a simple thing, but it is really about self-awareness. A lot of things make us happy, and spending just a little more time focusing on that can make a world of difference in our outlook and how we approach our time at work and outside of work.

Of course, we have to do things we don't enjoy doing, be it at work or at home. These are responsibilities. But how we frame the way in which we choose to use our time, how we approach every task can be radically different once we have self-awareness about what makes us happy. Some of the things that make me happy.
