Nothing beats face to face

I just spent all day at a conference as part of my work with two medical device startups.  Busy day meeting with stakeholders, potential investors, customers, distributors.
And it's a great reminder that there is no better way to relate to people than face to face.
Often we have many reasons that lead us down a path of less contact - our schedules get busy, our focus on cost control... Whatever the reasons, time goes by and we lose that touch and in doing so, we lose  that difference, that meaning.
And with technology, email, social media, we can easily talk ourselves into thinking we are fostering quality relationships and networks.
Don't be lulled.
Nurture your relationships. Value them. Leverage them. To do that, you need to invest the time to engage.
